Every car dealer on any given day can be a hero or a scam artist. The larger the place the bigger the chance is you will get to meet someone who is a jerk. Of course not everyone gets along with everyone and cars breakdown. Many times you get a good deal on a car and for one reason or another it take a crap, but you hope the dealer has enough class to take care of the issues and is fair with you.
We recently visited Midway Dodge on the South Side of Chicago. We read their a few reviews and they are either great or they really are bad. So what do you do believe the hype – good or bad? Well a bad review can mean caution, but I say so can a good review too. Too many good review or not enough reviews make me wonder too.
When it comes to Midway Dodge they have a large selection of new or used cars and work with all types of buyers since the majority of all cars sales are done on-line. We found a 2004 Jeep Wrangler as a second fun car to buy primarily for my daughter Danielle. We meet with Mario, he had the Wrangler pulled up, we took a test drive and looked at carfax.
The Jeep drove good, but needed a few tires on front. We agreed on a price with repairs and drove the Jeep home. We brought the Jeep back for front tires. The put two new tires on the Jeep and my daughter is a Happy Camper. We purchased a service contract on powertrain just in case it had problems later.
Overall the process could have moved faster but we are Happy. Midway Dodge did a good job, which just goes to prove you can’t believe everything you read and you have to go check it out for yourself. At no time am I saying you can’t meet a rotten apple, but I recommend them. Good Luck!
